Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Razumentis (“we”, “us”), based in Guatemala, for your use of Roxheiris — the web app, the Mac app and the website — including the AI character you talk to, Mao. By creating an account or using Roxheiris you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Roxheiris.

1. Roxheiris is an AI

Mao is an artificial intelligence, not a person. Her replies are generated by computer models, can be wrong, and aren’t professional advice — not medical, mental-health, legal or financial advice. Check anything important with a qualified person.

2. Who can use Roxheiris

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Roxheiris. By using it you confirm that you are. We close accounts we learn belong to someone under 18.

3. Your account

• You sign in with your email and a password. Keep your password private; you’re responsible for what happens on your account.
• One account is for one person. Don’t share or resell access.
• If you think someone else is using your account, write to [email protected].

4. Subscription and payment

• Roxheiris costs US$30 per month (plus any tax shown at checkout). The subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel.
• Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record. Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy’s terms. We never see or store your full card number.
• You can cancel anytime from “Manage subscription”. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
• Your plan includes a monthly usage allowance, shown to you as a percentage. If you reach it, Roxheiris pauses until your next billing period starts. The allowance exists to keep the service sustainable for everyone; it isn’t a separate charge.
• If we ever change the price, we’ll tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
• Refunds are covered by our Refund policy.

5. Acceptable use

Please don’t use Roxheiris to:

• break the law, or help anyone else break it;
• harass, threaten or harm other people, or create content that sexualises minors in any way;
• try to get into accounts, systems or data that aren’t yours, overload the service, or get around the usage allowance;
• copy, resell or scrape the service, the character or her voice, or use them to build a competing product;
• pretend Roxheiris’s output was written by a human when that would mislead someone.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. If we close your account for a reason other than a serious breach, we’ll refund the unused part of your current month.

6. Your content

What you say and type to Mao stays yours. You give us permission to process it only to run Roxheiris for you — to understand you, reply, speak, and remember what you’ve asked her to remember. How we handle it is explained in the Privacy policy. Mao’s replies are provided for your personal use.

7. Our content and third-party material

Roxheiris, its software and design belong to Razumentis. The Mao character model is sample data owned and copyrighted by Live2D Inc., used in accordance with the terms set by Live2D Inc.; this service is created at our sole discretion and isn’t endorsed by Live2D Inc.

8. Changes and availability

Roxheiris is a young product and we improve it often. Features may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. We don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. If we ever shut Roxheiris down, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice and refund any unused prepaid period.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using Roxheiris and cancel at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy policy).

10. Disclaimers and liability

Except where the law doesn’t allow it, Roxheiris is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Razumentis isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim about Roxheiris is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that can’t be waived.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Guatemala, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in the country where you live.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Roxheiris after that means you accept the new terms.
