Install Roxheiris on your Mac
The Mac installer is coming very soon. The steps below will be the same.
Before you start
- You need a Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or newer) running macOS 12 or later.
- The app is a free download. Talking to Mao needs a subscription: there is no free plan or trial.
- The same Roxheiris account works on the web and on the Mac.
Install in four steps
- Download Roxheiris for Mac and open the file Roxheiris.dmg.
- Drag Mao into Applications in the window that opens.
- Open Roxheiris from Applications. If your Mac says it cannot verify the developer, click Done, then double-click Allow Roxheiris in the install window (or open System Settings > Privacy & Security), scroll down and click Open Anyway. You only do this once.
- Sign in with your Roxheiris account. Mao will appear on your desktop.
If Open Anyway is missing
macOS shows Open Anyway for about an hour after the blocked attempt. If it is gone, open Roxheiris again first. When you click Open Anyway, macOS may ask once more whether you want to open an app downloaded from the Internet: click Open.
Why the warning?
Roxheiris is new and is not yet registered with Apple's notarization service. The app is signed by Razumentis AI, and updates are signed too, so only real Roxheiris updates install.
